Is Vacation Really Considered A Vacation?

Every year many families take a vacation and travel somewhere away from home. Whether their travel be in close proximity or many miles away, they still consider it a vacation. So what REALLY goes into a vacation? One has the pre-planning, the planning, and the post-planning. The pre-planning includes: finding a place to vacation, booking the vacation, the transportation, the activities to accomodate the vacation, and lastly the dreadful budget. The planning includes: the packing, the schedule/day of departure and arrival, and how many stops will be taken between the beginning of your trip and the arrival. The post-planning includes: dealing with the stress of the budget, replenishing the budget, and getting back to your everyday routine. Do all of these things sound like a vacation? When you break down a vacation into terms of this, it makes vacation seem like work and that's what you are trying to get away from.
